Dear Russ: I can't imagine CPQ missing by .04 either.
Just a few days ago, while I was staying with friends in another state, the husband was raving about the Presario notebook his brother-in-law had brought over to show them the week before. The BIL works in Naval Intelligence, something to do with computers, in D.C. and from what he was telling my friends, when it comes to notebooks, "Compaq is king--don't even bother looking at any other brand." He said he would never buy anything but a CPQ (notebook or desktop) for use at home. The notebook brought over was to be sent to one of his sons who is in grad school in Colorado.
Just before logging into my account, I noticed an ad for a CPQ Presario Internet PC on the back of the March issue of _Money_ starting at $1,099 after rebates. Looks good to me!
