ad: I did a little more digging, it seems that there was a rumour going around a couple months back that CDO had a deal nearly worked out with WCOM to sell Prism for WCOM stock which would have been a very good business arrangement for CDO and at the same time circumvented a huge tax issue. Unfortunately, the fall back in WCOM stock price put the deal on hold for now. I also came across some more names of competing companies. In addition to Covad, Rythms, Northpoint, and Copper Mountain have been mentioned (interestingly, CDO ventures owns pieces of several of these companies). duckster
