Chris, in an unusual twist, FM ran up after last qtr.'s earnings and then MCD dropped their bomb. I remember the sick feeling I had that morning when I saw FM's 2 point plus gap down and I couldn't find any reason for the drop. Then I grabbed the front page of the WSJ. Bah humbug! Especially since the MCD promo is all gas. Fortunately for us, I don't think it will affect Jack. I don't expect a repeat of that after-earnings runup because it will take another quarter before investors will see the lack of impact on FM caused by MCD. What are your thoughts about Carls Jr.'s acquisition? Arnie
