Quest Net Granted Permanent Injunction Against Cybersmear

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 2000--Quest Net Corp., (OTCBB: QNET)(OTCBB: QNETE), announced today that the company has filed a lawsuit in Dade County Circuit Court against five individuals they alleged were smearing the image of the company on the Raging Bull Bulletin Board.

Also, the court today entered an injunction against one of the defendants, David Engel a/k/a bcohen, restraining him from any further conduct which may be construed as an intentional interference with any contractual/business relationships with its employees, suppliers, customers, shareholders and/or investors.

Quest Net Corp. alleges in the lawsuit that five individuals using the alias names bcohen, jollyr, ADVISORY, Cats3 and gman007, posted false and defamatory statements about the company and its Chairman, Camilo Pereira, on an Internet bulletin board, the Raging Bull.

Pereira claims these statements constituted an intentional interference with the company and Mr. Pereira's business relationships. The company alleged the defendants are short sellers and engaged in cybersmear to depress the price of the company's stock for their personal benefit.

This suit is representative of the company's policy not to tolerate the dissemination of any false or defamatory information on the Internet regarding the company, its officers, directors or shareholders.
