MSFT said 1/2 a million in USA, retail. The numbers still missing are rest of the planet & non-retail. I think MSFT sold well over 1 million worldwide by now and will sell between 3 to 5 million by Q end. At an ASP of 200, consdiering the prof sells for 179, and others for higher, MSFT will generate incremental 1/2 to 1 billion in revenue this Q. Granted, that about 1/2 of that will be deferred as unearned revenue. I think the retail part gets accounted immeidately. I don't see why MSFT can't report 6.5B in revenues and 50c in earnings this Q. Analysts, please don't raise estimates. Keep it at 41c. Like that much.
