Check with your brokers before you order certs. They just went through this on Gifs. Then the transfer agent resigned and the TN state atty general took over the company. The people holding certs are having a hard time getting their brokers to sell them. If you have a margin account, I think you can ask them to move it into non margined, which as I understand it, means they can't loan shares to anyone (shorters). The GIFS situation is extraordinary. I'm not saying that would happen here, but check with your broker. If you do order them and have a broker with the same policies as Schwab, you can sell anytime as long as you get certificates to them within three days.
