PRESS RELEASE...Drilling of the Finley State #3 is Halted March 3, 2000 In reentering the Finley #3, sloughing shales in the Cody formation were encountered causing the well bore to be highly unstable and too risky to continue drilling. Due to these conditions, the operator has decided to stop drilling and plug the reentry of this well bore. Plans are being made to move the rig over in order to re-drill this location.
