If you compare EDS to ICGE then EDS looks really good-
EDS management needs to get out the PR and get EDS recognized for what it really is. Here is a few excerpts from the Robertson Stevens Tech Conference from one of the analysts on ICGE and related hot "stocks".

Upin explains the model behind the incubator and a leader in this field: ``A perfect example of an incubator, and one of our top picks, is a company called Internet Capital Groups (Nasdaq: ICGE - news). Internet Capital, founded in 1996, was actually playing the B2B game for several years before any of us knew that such a game existed. What they have traditionally done is take and make investments in specific marketplaces, so ICG only focused on B2B.'

When asked what stocks he is recommending, Upin responds, ``The stocks we're focusing on today are primarily Internet Capital Group, VerticalNet (Nasdaq: VERT - news), and Chemdex (Nasdaq: CMDX - news). Those are the three primary stocks. A great bulk of what we're waiting for are the several dozen companies to come public so there will then be some premier names in that space.'

Upin explains, ``Chemdex, in the past few weeks, announced a new initiative called Industria, which is targeting the fluid processing market, a huge $75 to $100 billion vertical market that's really focused on process manufacturing industries. It's not focused on the inputs or the raw materials but on the equipment to transform raw materials, whether it's crude oil into motor oil and gasoline, or glue into cosmetics. Chemdex built a consortium of players that really had critical mass even before this exchange was built. Chemdex has signed up Dupont (NYSE: DD - news) as a major player on the buyer side. They've signed up IBM (NYSE: IBM - news) to do the services. They've signed Ariba (Nasdaq: ARBA - news) and TradeEx to perform the systems infrastructure and to help build the network and they are being funded by CMGI Ventures (Nasdaq: CMGI - news).'
