Peruvian Gold Limited and Imperial Metals Corporation have received the final results of the 22-hole diamond drill program at the Silvertip high-grade silver/zinc/lead project in Northern British Columbia. Peruvian is earning an interest in the property from Imperial (see Stockwatch Sept. 30, 1999). The project contains a measured, indicated and inferred resource of 2.57 million tonnes grading 325 grams per tonne silver, 8.8 per cent zinc and 6.4 per cent lead, as estimated by Imperial. Significant results for the final 15 holes from the underground drilling program are listed on the table attached, in addition to results from the first seven holes which were released previously (Stockwatch Feb. 10, 2000). All analyses were performed by Bondar Clegg, an independent Vancouver assay laboratory. The drilling tested the continuity and orientation of the mineralization discovered by surface drilling (hole SSD 65, formerly SSD 99-2) in August of 1999, which intersected 31.4 metres of 318 g/t silver, 8.65 per cent zinc and 5.53 per cent lead. The underground diamond drilling was completed in just over one month, with 3,210 metres of HQ sized core produced. The program was completed on time and within budget. The results of this underground drilling program significantly enhance the potential of this project, with the recognition and confirmation of multiphase, high-grade, feeder style massive sulphides. An exploration program is currently being planned for the summer season of 2000.
