I listened to a recording of the call on Monday night. Frank Polese's answer to your question regarding the golf club sole weight was definitely one of the highlights. Lots of encouraging specifics were offered for the near term.

In other areas, the recent Texas Instruments acquisition was explained and quantified. Helpful details about all subsidiaries were revealed. Overall, it looks like the infrastructure is in place for growth in multiple areas. The expense of laying this groundwork has dampened recent earnings but should pay off in the second half of 1997 and beyond. Investors who feel burned by 4Q96 will probably need to see bottom-line proof before positive sentiment returns.

I also encourage everyone to listen to the call by May 2.
