Maybe the Elephants did it for the SPO. SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 2000--drugstore.com (NASDAQ: DSCM, news, msgs) todayannounced that a registration statement has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) for the public offering of up to 6,020,000 shares of its common stock. Of these shares, drugstore.com is offering 4,500,000 shares of common stock and certain selling stockholders are offering 1,520,000 shares. drugstore.com and one of the selling stockholders expect to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an aggregate of 903,000 additional shares. Maybe the elephants decided to crank up the share price for the SPO. The time must be approaching soon. Tom
