For the last 4 days, the stock has moved up about 2 points
everyday on 50 million average volume. I would like to look
at previous bull runs on MSFT, such as the run from 88 in
Sept 98 to 195 in March 99 and point out that the behavior
was very similar. I am not saying the the stock would double
in 6 months. But I do see it approaching 150 by summer and
believe this is the beginning of that bull run.

Windows 2000 is kicking but. MSFT, in its traditional
conservative style wanting to quote a low number comes up
with 1/2 million excluding rest of the world and non-retail.
Makes it appear like it was in first 2 weeks. Reality likely
be they sold over 1 million total in the first week if we
cosnider OEM channels and rest of the world outside US.
In Canada, UK, Japan they would have sold 1 milion by now.

The reality will show on April 18th. Look for 3-5 million
licences and incremental 1/2 to 1 Billion in sales. That
would be enough to sustain the rally.
