LOL? Why? Do you think Iridium's LEO satellites are going away? Do you know who Iridium's creditors are? I'll give you a hint, it's primarily Chase Manhattan, their lender, Motorola, who built their satellites and is presently operating what there is of the Iridium business, and some litigants. None of whom will profit by the destruction of Iridium.

Nope, the only ones who will profit by the destruction of Iridium are its competitors, e.g. GSTRF. I spoke today with a number of lower level employees at various Iridium sites, it's still here.

Disclosure, not long Iridium, not short GSTRF, just interested in the future of broadband satellite internet.

P.S., sorry, I am one of those hated, reviled things, a lawyer, so I know how to read a bankruptcy petition, schedules, and docket. :)
