Hi all - it is good to have quite a bit of traffic here :). While it is good that we are crossing the 't's and dotting the 'i's [again,] much of what transpired here were been mentioned. For instance, in case someone wants to get a handle of the private valuation [usually much lower before the ipo price,] there was the news that NT has taken a 1% stake in Prism at the price of $100MM. Also posted here before was some analysts floating some figures on Venture and Prism, and also the core biz.

Another clue for the likely outcome of Prism can also be found in the NT's stake. If WCOM wants to be in, chances are it will have to pony even more, since NT is getting a bit of a discount b/c she is a supplier, whose equipments will be needed to power the pipes. WCOM has zero leverage, except oodles of cash and stocks. Being a premier DSL vendor, and the fact that CDO isn't cash strapped to boot, there are plenty of deep pockets out there wanting a piece of the action.

just my 2c

best, Bosco
