I work for CPQ. I can say that CPQ is ready for W2K like no other company is. From our hardware to services, we are ready for W2K. In fact, CPQ is the #1 services company for W2K. There is no other services company that has more experience with W2K. CPQ built and currently manages MSN, which runs on W2K. CPQ servers have no parallel running W2K. In fact, CPQ servers are reference platforms for Micrsoft when they developed W2K. I can say that Dell servers are not up to par, their driver development is terrible. Wanna have some fun? try upgrading a DELL server with a RAID controller to W2K. It will bluescreen EVERY TIME. Why? Because DELL's raid drivers did'nt make it on the W2K CD ROM! Guess who's did? CPQ! Don't think its a big deal? think again!. W2K was designed for large networks, which means the bulk of W2K sales will be on servers with raid controllers and external storage. This just shows that DELL just cannot get its act together in the enterprise space. Dell is just up on HYPE and HOT AIR. How will the iPaq effect the corporate business market? It will revolutionize the sector. How? The iPaq is basically drastically dropping the price of the corporate PC to $500. This will decimate Dell's margins, since Dell gets the bulk of revenue from the business market.
