Up until recently, I never used market orders on OTC-BB stocks. Limit orders do not execute at all lately with Waterhouse, so I have been forced to use market orders. I've been trading with them since 1996 and it is only in the last month or so that they have become completely unacceptable. They are rated very poorly, worst than E-Trade, on a few web broker ranking sites right now. I'm in the process of liquidating my Waterhouse account and finding another broker. I think I'll switch to NDB, which is not perfect, but at least fairly well regarded among penny traders. The idea of trying to trade the OTC-BB with Waterhouse over the phone is ludicrous in light of their 30 - 45 minute hold times.
