Jeff - Not good news...if Bre-X is anticipating good news they would
have a press conference. No question about that. You don't put out
a news release about the biggest gold find this century.

Don't you think as a company you would want to respond to the press in a public forum if news was positive? Like you have indicated.

Let's hope it's not a press release on the wire. I've only been tracking this saga for a couple of weeks and it seems to me that a large company like FCX would not be wrong about something like this.

I think everyone wants to believe there's gold, but I find it hard to when a company like Freeport would put their credibility on the line
and report wrong results. This would be a major disaster for them and
I don't think they would every live it down.

The old saying "The rich get richer." These rich, powerful people are not going down with this one. To them its not the money they want, its the power and recognition.

P.S. I'm a big time Bre-X shareholder that wants to be long...
