Dear JRI: I saw an analyst (didnt bother to get the name) on CNBC last night recommending EMC. Since I feel quite comfortable with the stock I didnt pay a lot of attention but he said one thing that reminded me of you. He said EMC was up 85% last year. I dont really track exact percentages on each of my stocks in my portfolio as I am only interested in the total so cant say if that is true or not, but, I am happy with 85% a year. Since I actually had 125% for 1999 and EMC is my second largest holding after SUNW I feel it must have been well up there. JDN
