JE: It won't happen as it makes no sense and in the end is more expensive vis - a -vis the consumer. If by some fluke this was allowed to happen the share holders would still benefit. Look only to the recent past to get a clue COMS,LU,CS, etc. This thing is going to Appeals (unless Jackson overturns his present bias) and The Case is thrown out. I must admit I was surprised at the somewhat less than staunch follow up position that Bush took after being pressed on his comments made in Washington state. MSFT is very popular with the consumer who have more votes than the anti-MSFT special interests. Perhaps he was saying that because the Calif. primaries are forthcoming.

All in all compared to any other company by any metric MSFT is the most undervalued stock in the universe even at its old high of 120, especially in light of what is going on in the market place today. I cannot believe, although I welcome, the PE's of my RMBS,RFMD,CIEN,BRCM,CS,ASDV,ORCT etc positions but they indeed all make MSFT look very very cheap.
