Dean, a few comments.

Your para 1: I can't explain why the 4th quarter earnings (US$ 0.37) with the extra gain are less than the 3rd quarter earnings (US$ 0.44) unless they made a provision for the 14 million restructuring fee and all the penalties.

Para 2: Your interpretation of "US$ 000's except per share amounts" is incorrect. All figures are in US$, but 000' do not apply to the per share figures. No trickery there!

Para 3: Where did you get the combined figure of US$ 0.63 for the 4th quarter? The only released combined figure was US$ 0.94 for the whole year 1999.

Para 4: How can you average yearly earnings in one year? Actually, the quarterly earnings in 1997 were reported partly in Can$ and partly in US$ and I laboured to do the conversion at that time. I came to about US$ 0.18, 0.12, 0.22 and 0.15 for a yearly total of 0.67. And 1997 was their first complete year of operations. Where did you get the 0.45?

Para 5: Even Forecaster is overwhelmed! But I really think that the share price of US$ 29 is slightly too high, you see, earnings of US$ 3.50 times P/E of 8 is only US$ 28.
