OK..her is the drill a MM can and does..often ..trade against ..every customer out there ..he will see a demand and he will either ....sell into it or he will actively try to stop the demnad or he will actively..try to increase the demand , by artificially posturing..on an ECN or by collusive and manipulative actions of other cooperating MM's... It is too easy to ..pretend that a stock is headed up or down..and this appearance is 100% manufactured by the MM with the agenda..namely these are firms that have disclosed or undisclosed ties to an issuer.. Next time you see wierd stuff on Lvel II just pick up the phone and dial 911...and report a robbery in progress..because that is what is happening... But dont bother with the NASD becasue they make money on every manipulative trade and scam that takes place..the NASD makes 10 times more moneu now then they did when I was a MM...cause they allow...organized screwing by MM's
