The Ecstasy and the Agony. With the market so skittish, I decided to amuse myself today by reading the ANZ and CLL threads. These two stocks had meteoric rises and steep collapses recently, and I thought I might be able to learn something from them. Man, what fun! I heartily recommend every penny stock investor read these threads, and of course, keep a copy of the stock charts beside your computer while you do. It's fun to try and figure out who's doing what to whom. It's well known that all of these threads have promoters working them, sometimes in teams. Observe who is promoting the stock as it rises, what happens to someone who comes in near the top and advises caution, how the biggest supporters advise averaging down as the stock plummets, and how the most eloquent spokespeople for the stock, who advised buying near the top, seem to back off once the stock has dropped 50% or so. I guarantee you'll find familiar names there. Have a ball! Robert
