It only takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to recharge them. Then, pop in another set of 4 batts. Buying NiMH batteries are a MUST for digcams if the camera doesn't ship with rechargables right out of the box. In reality, you must include the price of rechargables and a charger as part of the purchase price of the camera.
