Darrell
Thanks for the wonderful info re the call to Turner.
I think what Turner is talking about is what I described in message #643. Though, as everybody knows by now, I'm very loooooong (!) in the stock, I don't think it would be wise or appropriate for Intel to buy any more RSYS, even if they're rolling in cash. To begin with, Intel isn't in the business of investing in shares of stock. Secondly, any further purchases would begin to take on a "control" look to both the SEC and FTC. The combined exercise/redemption of the stock covered by the warrant seemed, by intent, to be neither bullish nor bearish, but neutral. (Keep in mind, that Intel, as much as any broker, is subject to the rules on insider manipulation.)
As I also intimated in the earlier message, any sales of RSYS stock by Intel in the future should not be considered bearish because Intel, sooner or later, wants to close out the original equipment/design deal with RSYS for which the RSYS stock was partial payment. However, I think you can be sure, Intel is not going to sell in any way that would hurt RSYS or its shareholders. You don't shoot bullets into the heart of one of your best and most promising customers.
Another thing I think you can be sure of, if Intel starts acquiring more RSYS shares, it really WANTS control, and that's a whole other ballgame.
BTW, I intend to wade into the fray with my messages to NASDAQ, the SEC and the company. If enough of us jump up and down, the squeaks in the wheel will get oiled.
