Janice, after 508 posts we still know very little about James Van de Velde, the man. We know how old he is, where he lived, where he worked, where he went to high school, where he went to college, what kind of car he drove and a dozen other minor things but we don't know anything about Jim's personality or his personal life. In other words, who is James Van de Velde?

When was the last time Jim had a date prior to Suzanne's murder?
How many romantic relationships has Jim had in the past 10 years?
When did the last relationship end?
Why did it end?
Who was the woman?
Does she live in CT?
Did Jim have a close friend that he used to hang around with?
Was Jim a socializer? Did he go to parties and nightclubs very often?
What did he do and where did he go during school vacations?
Did he belong to any Yale faculty clubs?
What did he usually do on Friday and Saturday nights?
When was the last time a woman spent the night at Jim's apartment?
Did a woman ever spend the night at Jim's apartment?

In order to rule out Jim as a suspect we need to know a lot more about his personal life. We need a personality profile. Do you agree? He looks like a nice guy and talks like a nice guy but he is still a total stranger to us.

Jim
