Freedom Golf Corporation Announces First Annual Freedom Golf Celebrity Challenge ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2000--Freedom Golf Corporation (OTCBB:FGLC) is pleased to announce the First Annual Freedom Golf Celebrity Challenge.
The Freedom Golf Celebrity Challenge will take place March 2nd at the Grenelefe Golf & Tennis Resort in Orlando, Fla. The Challenge will be filled with numerous former professional athletes. Some of the celebrities that are scheduled to play include Gary Carter and Goose Gossage, former MLB stars. Also NFL stars such as legendary Dick Butkus, Dolphins Jim Kick and Jim Jensen will be playing. Tim Robbie, former Miami Dolphins owner, will be playing as well.
The Challenge will be part of the four-day Fantasy Sports Players Association's Annual Convention. The trade convention will be held at the Grenelefe Golf & Tennis Resort. In addition to the celebrities, a number of executives have stepped forward to support the inaugural convention. They already have commitments from EA Sports, USA Today Baseball Weekly, Freedom Golf Corporation, CBS Sportsline, ESPN.com, STATS, Inc., Prime Sports, Fanball.com, USFANS and CDM fantasy sports.
