This morning I was doing some DD on Vivid Semiconductor, a major WCAP holding, and ran across a recent article suggesting that it has received a buyout offer from Philips Semi. eocenter.com Does anyone know anything about this rumor? This would potentially be very big news for WCAP, because I believe Vivid Semi is the second-largest investment WCAP has made: Cyberian Outpost: $2.7 million Vivid Semiconductor: $1.9 million Commerce One: $1.4 million
