This technology was first introduced by General Electric years ago. There is an interesting program on Public television that covers DeBeers and it's power, very interesting program. General Electric scrapped the project for no apparent reason, every one involved with the program was let go.
"Cultured" rubies have been around a while. IMO there is a
diamond substitute now that many jewelers are fooled by, the real diamonds will always prevail as the "Real Thing"....DD
