The logical choice is to go for the Athlon (Intel made a big mistake not continuing to aggressively promote the "Intel inside" campaign)." Wow, Gateway is laying it on thick. These systems are the same price and have the same innards. There is no reason whatsoever to choose the slower PIII system over the faster Athlon system except for the Intel logo. And soon the slowest Athlon system Gateway is going to sell will be 700MHz.
