Thank you Leo for your interest, but no, I'm just a private investor like you all. I signed onto SI three weeks ago because I'd been reading it for several weeks and just couldn't take the one-sidedness of it all.
I'm all in favor of an unbridled, free internet...and the Jalalai's and Staff's can post all day long (like me). But I think balance is healthy, so I ante'd up the $45 and chimed in. BTW, I doubt if the small followings on these stock boards have much impact on stock prices, vs. huge professional portfolio managers. I see this more as an interesting semi-representative sample of all the private investors out there...in this case, there are a lot of shorts, and I was curious what makes them tick, and how they'd respond to the other side. I have heard that "professional net hypesters" exist, but I would be skeptical of their impact. (Iomega of course a Net-hyped stock was more of a people's movement...people who happened to be on the Net happened to need disk storage.)
Anyways, I have the Net running in the background at work, and I enjoy reading everything I can, and responding frequently. My few stock holdings are an important part of my life and I spend alot of time keeping up on them anyway I can. That's the truth, and that's about it! By the way, I think the best argument I see here is "how can DDI ever justify a 250+M market cap...that's alot of Ardes." True. There's a lot of other garbage in here though. Enough about me.
