Looks bleak for the auto rental companies. Stocks are all down - even HRZ. I'd guess people will continue to pull money out and put it in tech-like places. Or just sell to stop the pain.

It's hard to predict when a recession will occur to hurt the auto rental business. Right now, I'd say business is still okay. I would expect all the auto rental companies to survive. BD looks to be in bad shape, but they should make it. JMO - although I've been wrong many, many times before. And VERY wrong on BD. I am still betting on BD to recover. It is the 3rd largest auto rental co. and 2nd in truck rental.

Fwiw, I've added to my small position in UHAL, which is #1 in truck rental.
