Good luck with CPQ and WMT. I prefer small cap issues in this environment as they produce faster action.
both CPQ and WMT were indicating a oversold condition, however be carefull as the longer term chart could imply a down trend with WMT, as WMT will be vulnerable to the work that the fed is attempting to accomplish (slowing the economy).....bit of a fine line. CPQ could get some attention however (wireless initative) if they can get some new growth going.
On ELBO, I suspect we are seeing some run up comming into earnings.......I may trade out by Wednesday if ELBO continues its run and look to get back in again during the summer doldrums.
You may want to look at SLVN, that I recently got into. Seems like a serious attempt to transform SLVN into a internet enabled business with their sale of 1/2 the business for what amounts to 600 mil in after tax proceeds and plunking 1/2 of that into a new venture with Apollo and RRRR. I see SLVN as a longer term play and it does appear the current environment for investing rewards business that doesn't rely on earning and a track record (allows everyones imagination to run a bit!)
Back on WMT and CPQ I think your correct if your looking for a entry point, however the longer term chart would imply a sideways or perhaps down trend.
