I have a cable modem (motorola w/ AT&T old Mediaone service) and I use 98 and Netscape and only occasionally do I get the dreaded error... and then I just reopen Netscape til the next time... Like I told Robert the trick to Windows is to be "vewy vewy qwiet'... Errors like this could even be the video card driver... a myriad of possibilities... but I personally do prefer Netscape and have had good luck... I hope you do to!

The name- has to be real cause no one in their right mind would use it as an alias...:-) thanks
