August, Silicon could have polled all it members to find out what they thought..they didn't and now are tryng to shove an Edsel down our throats. Silicon used to be one of the better places for message boards. This is not the case anymore, most of the posters have fled to Raging Bull and even to....to Yahoo ( of all places ) For an interesting example go to thelion.com This is a new wrinkle, sort of the Reader's Digest of message boards. You can get all of the posts from Silicon, Raging Bull, Yahoo and Motely Fool...enter a stock symbol and it will take you to these four boards...while there you can check out amounts of posts and dates printed. You will also notice the paucity of posts from SI and higher number from Raging Bull. I am sorry this had to happen as I was a big fan of the Classic SI..for its simplicity and clarity.. but a few who achieved the "Peter Principle" early evidentally over-ruled the brothers who started SI... a moment of silence.........nysebob P.S....reminds me of the same breed who say year after year that they are going to simply income tax return form....and it gets worse and worse !!!!
