Brooke Shields Spotted Wearing Charles & Colvard Created Moissanite Jewelry;Moissanite Jewelry Hot in Hollywood
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Charles & Colvard (Nasdaq-NM: CTHR), the sole source of moissanite -- a created jewel now available for use in fine jewelry -- today announced that Brooke Shields was featured Saturday night wearing moissanite jewels at the Costume Designers Guild Awards in Los Angeles.
Ms. Shields wore a custom-designed necklace and earrings featuring Charles & Colvard created moissanite, designed by Bruno Montaldi, an exclusive design partner to the company. Montaldi, also the designer of the company's Gioielli Moiss line, designed the 45-carat necklace and six-carat earrings, both set in 18k yellow gold. The set contains a total of 305 moissanite jewels and has a retail value of $20,000.
More than 700 Hollywood stars, directors and designers attended the event hosted at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
