Jerome,

Recently I emailed the Peace Corps and asked about the Programs in place whereby I could possibly build schools. They sent me the link to the Partnership Program on their webpage which I already saw and which contained an unusually small number of projects, surprisingly few of which relate to eduation at all. I recently came across a statistic the other day: 2 billion people currently have no access to schooling whatsoever. I am very surprised that the partnership Program does not address this with more efforts to fund schools. I am further amazed that not one project is directed toward India, where 1/6 of the population lives and probably 1/3 of the population in dire need. Should I email them back with a specific proposal or will they simply direct me to the same site again? I am frustrated that there are so few resources on beginning a project such as this when the need is clearly there.

Regards,

Brian
