hi Nancywaz - I spent enough time laying out the difference (to the penny) on my Sch D attachment; so I left it to the IRS to ask Datek for a revised 1099 -- if necessary. Online brokerages' customer service (almost all, imho) not that responsive. Many are overwhelmed and cannot keep up.
