Panja(TM) and Global Crossing Telecommunications Forge Distribution and Marketing Agreement

- Creates New Residential Channel for Home Internet Entertainment Gateway

- Extends the Internet beyond the PC

DALLAS, and ROCHESTER, New York, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Panja (Nasdaq: PNJA) today announced that it has forged an agreement with Global Crossing Telecommunications to bundle Global Crossing's DSL services and the Panja 1000 product line. Panja will package the Panja 1000 Internet Home Entertainment Gateway with SDSL (symmetrical digital subscriber line) access provided by Global Crossing to Global Crossing's Internet Protocol (IP) backbone.

The Panja GC 1000 package includes the Panja 1000 Internet Home Entertainment Gateway with the Broadband Blast service, an always-on, high-speed Internet access connection -- resulting in the industry's first residential gateway product that delivers streaming audio, video and other rich Internet content directly to home entertainment systems and non-PC devices.

"We believe this literally blows the roof off of how people will think about Internet connectivity. It gives our customers access to the cloud services and networking infrastructure for which Global Crossing is known and which is crucial to the expansion of home and business automation and networking," said Panja CEO Joe Hardt.

"Global Crossing fully supports Panja's vision to extend the Internet beyond the PC to cell phones, screen phones, remote controls, pagers, televisions, stereos and the full range of devices possible in the home and enterprise," said David Pugliese, vice president of marketing for Global Crossing.

"The networked home is the point of digital convergence; the place where consumers are realizing the benefits of appealing new applications and content," said Boyd Peterson, vice president of the Yankee Group. "I believe the relationship Panja and Global Crossing have struck is significant as consumers seek increased access to Broadband and seek to access the Internet from anywhere in their homes."
