Twin Gold gearing up for March Bulk Sampling Program
TORONTO, March 6 /CNW/ - Twin Gold Corporation ("Twin Gold") (TSE:TWG) is pleased to announce that the key elements for its March, 2000 bulk sampling program are in place. With the preliminary results of the geophysical survey of its 100 % owned 444 sq.km TORNGAT property in hand, eight (8) targets have been selected for extraction of a ten (10) tonne sample of kimberlite from each. Contractors have been selected to carry out drilling, blasting, and collecting the sample and then carry it to a plant for processing. To ensure the integrity of the samples, from collection to processing, a strict quality control program is being prepared by a recognized firm which will also supervise its execution. Twin Gold will announce the names of the successful bidders for the bulk sampling program, which takes maximum advantage of manpower and services inKuujjuaq and Kangisulujjuaq. Twin Gold, in addition to exploring the diamond prospect on the east side of the Ungava Bay in Northern Quebec is also an emerging producer of a low cost gold mining project of 1 million ounces of gold and 3.2 million ounces of silver reserves in Idaho, U.S.A.
