You're right! The news didnt warrant a 40% spike. Having a bigger and more professional sales team is good news but not BIG news. However, the announcement shows 2 things: 1. Charlotte Walker(CEO) has a BIG BACKLOG of good news. The Strategic Partners deal was probably signed a month ago when they released the new products(logically). It was just ANNOUNCED yesterday. The uptick was most likely caused by a BIG deal that was cut with the New Yorkers yesterday. 2. She is ready to start BIG PROMOTION of the stock. Watch for BIG SURPRISES the next couple of weeks. Also, another deal is in the works... some people from Florida visited the CEO today. I'm bring up these travel details because you only fly cross country to SEAL a DEAL. Otherwise, there's always 1-800-COLLECT! Also, stay tuned for a big EARNINGS SURPRISE! Announcement on this is still over a month away. Can you say PROFITS?! Just a rumor at this stage though. Also, continuing a trend from last week, bidders consistently outnumbered the offererors about 3 to 1 today. The upward movement of the stock should gain momentum next week.
