The advance-decliners on both exchanges delineated by industry. If you look at the Nasdaq, you'll find the tech industries are the only ones up. dynamic.nasdaq-amex.com The Nasdaq Industrial Index doesn't really count since it's full of internet, software, and medical stocks. The impact on exchange averages really boils down to the distribution of sectors among those two index averages.
