Ms.Penny, unless you placed an odd lot order [under 500 shares]you are being screwed[pardon the expression] by your Broker. Waterhouse ,we believe ,is connected to TD green Line and they could do the trade over the CNDX system which is electronic and does NOT involve a US market maker. As we post the Price on CDNX is 1.05 bid-1.25 ask CND and charge for such a trade should only be approx $29.00 CND.Hope you get this info in time to save you from being Ripped off.
