I have been looking at some of the stocks in the portfolio and some of them have me puzzled.

APAT is up 18% in two weeks. From the SI profile:

APA Optics designs, manufactures, & markets optical components and
various optoelectronic products. For the 9 months ended 12/31/99,
revenues fell 62% to $239K. Net loss rose 63% to $2.9M. Revenues reflect
the Company's decision to focus on product development and reduce its
emphasis on contract research and development. Higher losses reflect
higher costs associated with product development, including the hiring of
personnel.

Price/Sales (TTM) 1,266.62
Price/Book (MRQ) 181.71

Would someone buying this stock please tell what they see here that is attractive besides the fact that they are involved in optoelectronics? Nine month sales of $239,000 or $26,500 a month?
