Hi V,

Wrote my first CCs this am on ELON. Sold Mar 90's at $9.75. Terrific prem. for 3 weeks. Again, many thanks for the time you have taken on this thread for explaining the stress free life. I believe I could retire now covering only about 25% of my assets. Unbelievable and a little scary. Echoing Blandbutmarvellous' posts, we joined SI because of your CC posts. Hope you can put up with a couple of beginner questions.

1) when you sell the calls, do you use market orders or do you try to get a little better price by maybe say splitting the bid ask. Of course the risk could be the that the price could move dramatically and could wind up having to sell the call at a lower price.

2) At what point would you stop selling calls on a stock that goes into a long term down trend, say stock goes down every month. For example, lets say ELON goes down an average of $10 per month for next 4 months. 4 months out, are we still writing calls at 48? Or do we start looking for another Buy/write combo before then?

A million thanks in advance!!!
