It certainly represents a rather spectacular IPO failure that can't be easily glossed over, at least for the poor souls that bought at market open last Thursday and sold in panic since. I am well aware of COMS and Palm. IMO, Palm is facing formidable competitive challenges, and it is not clear it will overcome them easily.
