That's good to know. Where did you find that info?
From the Abit News Group, here are a few more of interest.

alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.abit
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.tyan
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.asus
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.supermicro
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.m-tech
alt.comp hardware.overclocking
alt.comp.hardware.pc-homebuilt

I don't understand this statement: why should you have to pay for a BIOS?.
There was a post with a Phone # (my quarter) to call Abit, ask for Sales/Service and order the EEPROM BH6NV Bios Chip and install it rather than Flash. Actually had I ordered it, then Flashed my old one, screwed it up, changed EEPROM, back in business, then later put the old one back in, knowing what I did wrong, Flashed the Old one, Now I have a Spare.
You think they may furnish it free?.
Francis, a techie' from Abit hangs out on Abit's Group and will answer questions.

Hope the w2k install is going OK after a nights sleep.<G>

Regards, /jw

ps:these BH6 BX boards seems to be in demand. People WTB, want to buy. Go to overclockers.com, click on classified.
They must be a Tough ole' BX Buzzard!!!!
