Javlin for EJB applications with dynamic data caching
eXcelon Corporation (Nasdaq:EXLN), a leading supplier of dynamic business-to-business (B2B) solutions, today announced that they have entered into a strategic technical and marketing relationship with BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAS), The E-Commerce Transactions Company(TM). This relationship is designed to promote the widespread integration of BEA WebLogic Server(TM) and eXcelon's Javlin EJB dynamic data-cache server into mission-critical eBusiness applications.
BEA WebLogic Server is the market leading Java application server and provides the most comprehensive implementation of EJB technology. Javlin is an EJB data server that stores, manages, and delivers EJB-ready data to application servers using in-memory caches. Javlin also provides an extensible Java data framework that allows businesses to dynamically add data categories and attributes without bringing their system down, and is the only middle-tier data-server solution providing a Java Dynamic Data Framework. When used together, BEA WebLogic Server and Javlin provide a valuable solution for distributing EJB application logic and data across multiple application servers for large-scale EJB applications.
