Bio-Vascular Receives Exclusive U.S. Distribution Rights for Neuro-Surgical Product
ST. PAUL, Minn., March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Bio-Vascular, Inc. (Nasdaq: BVAS - news), has signed an agreement giving the company exclusive U.S. distribution rights for a precision micro neuro dissection set manufactured by the Feather Safety Razor Co. of Japan. Bio-Vascular will distribute the product beginning in the second half of fiscal 2000 through its existing network of domestic independent sales distributors and representatives.

The BVI Neuro Dissection Set is a high quality precision specialty instrument with applications in virtually all neuro-surgical dissection and resection tasks. The product combines re-usable titanium alloy handles offering excellent balance and feel with disposable blades that ensure sharpness and sterility. The BVI Neuro Dissection Set is classified as a Class I exempt device, according to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. The product has been distributed in Europe and Japan.
