Fundamentalist Christian dogma is medieval superstition, much like fundamentalist Muslim dogma. If people want to enslave themselves to these notions, that's their business. If they want to enslave others, that becomes everybody's business.

All evangelism is a violation of the right of others to hold - or not hold - their own beliefs, free from harassment or interference.

I don't frankly, care what Pat believes; if he wants to worship triumvirate of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Great Pumpkin it's fine with me. If he starts demanding public worship of Santa in the school system, that's another story altogether.

Robertson's stated aim is for his particular cult to achieve political dominion over the United States, and that is a matter of public concern. If candidates of major parties are making deals with him, that is also a matter of public concern.
