Hey, why'd the old buzzards turn the lights out when they left? >:0( Just cause some people with no real jobs are going out partying doesn't mean the world stops... ce, I wish you could've heard a buddy of mine today reporting on a meeting he had with some guys from a German wireless-related start-up. As a good G&K lurker he asked some questions about CDMA, and found that he had entered topsy-turvy land. Apparently the Europeans just see things entirely differently from the way we do. Not only do they not consider GSM toast, but even their scientists pooh-pooh CDMA's advantages, the whole lot of 'em see Qualcomm and CDMA as American protectionism and pique at being an also-ran in the world standards game, etc. etc. My buddy came away not stirred, but a bit shaken... He asked me for the best authoritative overview of the relative advantages and disadvantages of CDMA and GSM; anything in particular spring to mind that you'd recommend giving him to read? cbb/A
